The Best Brownies You Have Ever Had

I know, it is a big claim, the BEST brownies EVER! But I am telling you, make them. You will prove me right. I have 6 kids and 1 husband who will back me up on this…if I can pull them away from the pan long enough. Dark chocolate gooey brownies topped with pecans and a coconutty icing, they are rich and amazing but not too heavy. Even if you are not gluten free, I highly suggest making these brownies exactly as they are made below. Brownies are meant to be dense and rich, and going gluten free for these honestly HELPS that. Just go with it, trust me and then enjoy!

This recipe is crazy simple. Seriously. Pickup a boxed brownie mix of your choosing. I love the Betty Crocker Gluten Free Mix. If you use the Betty Crocker mix, I make the following adjustments:

  • Substitute heavy whipping cream in place of water
  • Once batter is mixed, pour into a sprayed baking dish and top generously with dark chocolate chunks, semi-sweet chips and pecans.
  • Once the brownies are baked, allow to cool fully. Then top with 1.5 jars of Coconut Pecan icing and more pecans.

My only warning is to keep these off your kitchen counter or they will be gone before you know it!
